Giving out my email just got me $5!

Earlier this summer my friend and I went shoe shopping and hit up Famous Footwear. The kid at the register asked me to sign up for some rewards program. I didn't really want to, but his boss seamed like a jerk and I know that sometimes employees get brownie points if they get people to sign up for rewards programs. The shoes I bought were for my mom and not me. I have not been back to Famous Footwear since that day. So all I'm saying is I have not spent any of my own money at the store since signing up. Today I got an email with a $5 reward coupon. My guess is I can get some new running socks for $5 or less. Free socks aren't all bad! Score one for my team!
